Nicholas Alexander has been serving West Contra Costa County residents since 2008. His professional mission is centered on developing effective community and economic development strategies for underserved communities. He has worked as a strategic researcher in the Labor Movement, as well as helped design and administer statewide and local programs to improve the health and economic mobility of low-income workers and children. He is passionate about local government, grassroots organizing, and racial justice. He received his BA from Duke University and his MPP from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley. He lives with his wife and son in Richmond.
