What success means to Tiffany: Success means progress and personal growth.
Inspired by Maya Angelou’s belief that “people will never forget how you made them feel,” Tiffany Anaya is a dedicated and compassionate leader with a profound commitment to social justice. As the Site Manager, Tiffany oversees daily operations with a focus on welcoming home individuals impacted by the criminal justice system, supporting her team, and fostering collaboration with community-based organizations. Her career spans over a decade of service in Contra Costa County, where she has made significant contributions to addressing reentry needs and combating hunger and homelessness.
Originally from Southern California, Tiffany’s journey has been deeply personal and transformative. Having grown up in a challenging environment marked by mental health issues, addiction, and early self-sufficiency, she has evolved into a resilient advocate for marginalized communities. Her experiences as a sister, friend, mother, and community member have shaped her unwavering dedication to social equity.
Tiffany’s work is driven by her belief in the fundamental right to health care, housing, and education. She is passionate about dismantling systems of oppression, including mass incarceration. Her commitment extends beyond her professional life. She is invested in creating a safe and vibrant community where everyone has the opportunity to build a better future.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Tiffany enjoys exploring new destinations, savoring diverse cuisines, and immersing herself in different cultures. An avid outdoors woman and animal lover, she values the balance and joy that these experiences bring to her life.
